Meditation Evening - 5

7.30pm - 10pm

I am very pleased to offer a monthly meditation evening, usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, together with a Meditation for Beginners meeting usually on the 4th Monday of each month. Just check my diary page for confirmation of dates each month, just in case they alter due to holidays, bank holidays etc.

Currently hosted in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of my home in Heckington, you will be welcomed with refreshments, an informal chat and opportunity to meet and greet likeminded people, before settling to be guided through a relaxing guided meditation. We will then have an opportunity to share your experiences if you wish over further refreshments.

A simple meditation is a wonderful way to take an all important time-out from the hustle and bustle of every day life, as well as a way to quieten and refocus the mind, calm and restore the body and reflect on life or issues that are troubling us.

By disconnecting from our everyday tasks and focusing on just one thing, be it a word or sound, an image or symbol such as a flame or by concentrating on our own breathing, we can become refreshed and refocused with clarity of thought or vision and become more attentive to our higher guidance.

All techniques and guided meditations used during our evenings will be made available to you, either in printed or electronic form, so that you may continue to practice your meditation at home.
